.~ With opposed relatively movable members acting on immersed work
DEFINITION
Classification: 118/427
(under subclass 400) Coating apparatus having at least two solid members immersed in the coating pool with the work disposed therebetween, the solid members moving with respect
to each other to manipulate the work to bring about a more intimate contact between the work and the coating material.
(1) Note. For example, in this subclass may be found devices which beat, scrub, press, or agitate the work while immersed.
SEE OR SEARCH THIS CLASS, SUBCLASS:
100+, for other coating devices having solid work treating means which act on the coated base after the coating is applied rather than during the coating operation.
