(under subclass 256) Coating apparatus in which the applicator has a reversible motion between the base to be coated and a source of coating material.
(1) Note. Mere yieldably mounted pad or absorbent type applicators which may be deformed by pressure to contact a source of coating material supply are excluded from this subclass, and will be found in subclass 265.
