(under subclass 55.5) Subject matter wherein the hull includes means (a) to permit the escape of liquid from an enclosed area in the hull or (b) to permit the ingress or egress of a gas (e.g., air).

(1) Note. An exhaust gas pipe coupled to the engine and extending from a compartment housing the engine is not considered a vent.
