SAILBOARD AND RIG MEANS THEREFOR:
(under the class definition) Subject matter wherein the marine vehicle includes (a) a portion which furnishes buoyancy when in contact with the water and to which the main supporting surfaces and other parts are attached (i.e., hull), (b) the buoyant hull being elongated and of a width comparable to the shoulder width of a user, intended to be propelled by the wind, and supporting the user, and (c) the user supporting wind affected structure (e.g., mast, boom, sail, etc.) for propulsion and navigation of the hull.
(1) Note. Many of the marine vehicles included herein have a mast and a boom with a sail attached thereto connected to, but unsupported by the hull deck such that the vehicle's user must directly grasp and manipulate the boom in order to erect the mast and sail and thereby navigate the vehicle.
