(under subclass 80.01) Device wherein a streat or air or other fluid acts directly on the strand or strands to guide, tension, advance, or otherwise handle the strand or strands.

(1) Note. The fluid medium is usually air which acts directly on the strand or strands, for example to propel the strand or strands through a guiding tube.
