DEFINITION

Classification: 112/217.4

(under subclass 217.3) Subject matter wherein the stand includes a foot-treadle disclosed for driving the sewing device wherein the motor displaces the foot-treadle drive and the motor control is usually connected with the foot-treadle.

(1) Note. In some instances the foot-treadle drive and the motor drive are both operative and may be used selectively.

However, usually, the conversion is from foot-treadle to motor driven.
