With bituminous or tarry residue, hydrocarbon, or naturally occurring wax:
(under subclass 162.1) Compositions which contain, in addition to the carbohydrate or derivative thereof, (a) a composition or compound having the characteristics of a tar or pitch no matter what the origin, (b) an organic compound consisting exclusively of the elements carbon and hydrogen, or (c) a naturally-occurring low-melting organic mixture or compound of hydrocarbons or esters of fatty acids and alcohols having the characteristics of wax (solid at room temperature).
(1) Note. Examples of components included herein are alkanes, alkenes, olefins, montan wax, ceresin wax, carnauba wax, all asphalts, bitumens, pitches and tars from coal, mineral oil, cotton seed pitch and the residue from the destructive distillation of wood, and natural oil distillations.
