Hydraulic damping:

(under subclass 198.2) Bogie including a chamber filled with liquid having provision to transfer the liquid from one location to another, utilizing the viscosity of the liquid to restrict free movement of the cross-member with respect to the frame.

(1) Note. A telescoping "shock absorber" is considered to be a hydraulic snubber in the absence of other disclosure.
