DEFINITION

(under subclass 238) Apparatus having a chamber, a pressure surface advancing within the chamber to exert compressing force within the chamber, means to rotate the chamber and means interconnecting the chamber and pressure surface so that the rotation of the chamber causes the pressure surface to advance within the chamber.
(1) Note. In these devices the box is interposed in the power path of the actuating force. The actuation of the box in rotation causes concurrent rotation and compression of the material.
