DEFINITION

Classification: 100/20

(under subclass 19) Apparatus in which the needle, in its movement across the path of movement of the material, carries the binder into the range of means which grips the end of the binder during the subsequent forwarding of the material for application of the binder.

(1) Note. This subclass includes patents in which a threader delivers to a gripper but where there is no joiner, and in which the joining is done by hand.
